Midwest Wheel Polishers use two different types of machines , the first is a VIS automated aluminum wheel polishing machine. The wheel is put inside the machine and held in place by an expandable hub. The measurements are placed in the computer, first the wheel is lightly sanded (if needed) , then the wheel is buffed using several different buffing pads. When complete the wheel will be highly polished to a shiny finish. MWP also offers a clear coat protector to be applied to the freshly polished wheel,( arrangements for the clear coat need to be made in advance, as they order it in so it is fresh).

The second machine is a manual polisher with a tilting and rotating table, this allows polishing at many different angles. The wheel is held on the table by 3 different wheel chucks, the table can be set to any angle and turns at variable speeds allowing the polisher to get into tighter spaces, some automotive wheels can be polished using this machine
